RETURN POLICY

PRODUCT RETURN POLICY

Effective date: March 1, 2023

 

We strive to provide the best possible customer service to our vending machine customers. If you are not completely satisfied with a product that you have purchased from one of our vending machines, please contact us at Customer Service to discuss your concerns.

 

General Policy

All products sold through our vending machines are considered final and sold "as-is" with no returns or refunds allowed. However, we understand that there may be exceptional circumstances that warrant a return or refund. As such, we have the following return policy in place.

 

Defective or Damaged Products

If you receive a product that is defective or damaged, please contact us within 24 hours of receiving the product. We may ask you to provide proof of purchase and/or a photo of the product in question. If we determine that the product is defective or damaged, we will provide instructions for returning the product and/or processing the refund.

 

Wrong Product Dispensed

If you receive a product that is not what you ordered, please contact us immediately to report the issue. We may ask you to provide proof of purchase and/or a photo of the product in question. If we determine that the wrong product was dispensed, we will provide instructions for returning the product and/or processing the refund.

 

Expired Products

We take care to ensure that all products sold through our vending machines are within the expiry date. However, in the unlikely event that you receive a product that has expired, please contact us immediately to report the issue. We may ask you to provide proof of purchase and/or a photo of the product in question. If we determine that the product has expired, we will provide instructions for returning the product and/or processing the refund.

 

Conditions for Return and Refund

All returns and refunds are subject to the following conditions:

  • Products must be returned in their original packaging and in the same condition as when they were sold.

  • Products that are opened or damaged, missing a part, or do not pass our third-party verification process may be denied a refund or exchange.

  • Returns lacking proof of purchase also may be limited or denied.

  • Products that have been tampered with or altered in any way cannot be returned or refunded.

  • Products must be returned within 7 days of purchase.

  • At Home Covid-19 test kits cannot be returned or exchanged.

  • Due to health and safety concerns, some health care items, home health and personal care products cannot be returned even if unopened and no refunds will be issued.

  • Gift cards, prepaid cards and phone cards cannot be returned or exchanged, except as required by law.

  • By purchasing a product from one of our vending machines, you agree to the terms and conditions of this product return policy.

We reserve the right to limit or refuse any refund or exchange. All returns or exchanges are subject to a third-party verification process.

Returns Process

All returns and refunds must be approved by us. In order to initiate a return or refund, please follow these steps:

  • Contact us at https://www.altunvending.com/cs to report the issue.

  • Submit the form on the website with your name, cardholder's name exactly as it appears on the card, contact information, and reason for contact.

  • Provide us with proof of purchase (such as a receipt or transaction record) and a photo of the product in question, if applicable.

  • Wait for our approval and instructions on how to proceed with the return or refund.

Refund Process

  • Valid photo ID may be required for any return or exchange.

  • Once we have received the returned product and confirmed that it meets the conditions for return and refund, we will process the refund.

  • Products returned in the amount of the original purchase price. If your purchase was made with a credit card or debit card, your refund will be made to that card.

  • Refund will process within 7 business days to process.

Fraudulent Returns

  • We take fraudulent returns very seriously and reserve the right to refuse a return or refund if we suspect that the request is fraudulent or malicious.

  • We may ask for additional information or documentation to verify the validity of the request.

  • Please note that a valid photo ID may be required for any return or exchange; this policy is subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to refuse a return or refund if we determine that the product does not meet the conditions outlined in this policy, or if we determine that the request is fraudulent or malicious.

 

​Other Important Information

Why We Need Your ID: A third-party processor helps us detect improper returns and prevent losses. Except where prohibited, we require a valid photo ID for all returns. Our third-party processor may record ID information during a return and keep it in a secure database to help us validate future returns. You may request a copy of your Return Activity Report by contacting us.

 

Our refund policy is subject to the successful completion of a third-party return authorization process. Additional information about that process can be on this website.

OTC SALES POLICY

1.    Customers must be 18 years of age or older with a physician's recommendation to purchase OTC medications from our vending machine at any location in the United States.
2.    Customers must read and follow all product labeling and usage instructions before using any medication purchased from our vending machine.
3.    Our vending machine is not intended to replace professional medical advice or treatment. Customers with medical conditions or questions about the use of OTC medications should consult with a healthcare provider before making a purchase.
4.    This vending machine is not intended for emergency use. Customers experiencing a medical emergency should seek immediate medical attention by calling 911 or going to the nearest emergency room.
5.    The vending machine operator reserves the right to refuse service to any customer who appears to be under the age of 18 or who is suspected of misusing the vending machine or its products.
6.    The vending machine will only dispense OTC medications that are approved by the FDA and labeled for over-the-counter use.
7.    As a legal requirement, we must notify you that the purchase of Over-The-Counter (OTC) products containing ephedrine, pseudoephedrine, and phenylpropanolamine is limited to a maximum of 3.6 grams per day and 7.5 grams within a 30-day period. It is important to note that this limit applies to each individual customer. To comply with the law, we will maintain a logbook that records the purchase activity of Scheduled Listed Chemical Products containing ephedrine, pseudoephedrine, and phenylpropanolamine. The logbook will contain a written or electronic list of all purchase activities and will be available for law enforcement officials upon request.
8.    The vending machine will not dispense prescription medications, controlled substances, or any other medication that requires a prescription from a healthcare provider.
9.    The vending machine will only dispense OTC medications that are within their expiration date and have been stored in appropriate conditions to ensure their efficacy.
10.    Customers are responsible for checking the expiration date and condition of any medication after making a purchase. If a product appears damaged or expired, customers should not use it.
11.    Customers should only purchase the amount of medication they need for their personal use. The vending machine operator discourages hoarding or stockpiling of medication.
12.    The vending machine operator is not responsible for any adverse reactions or side effects resulting from the use of medication purchased from this vending machine. Customers assume all risks associated with the use of OTC medications.
13.    The vending machine operator is not liable for any damages, injuries, or losses resulting from the use or misuse of medication purchased from this vending machine.
14.    The vending machine operator reserves the right to change the products available for purchase and the prices at any time without notice.
15.    The vending machine operator will periodically inspect and restock the vending machine to ensure that it is fully functional and stocked with fresh and effective medication.
16.    Customers who have questions or concerns about the products should seek assistance from a healthcare provider.
